🔍 A recent playtest revealed that RE9 will take place four years after Village. The main characters will be Jill and Leon, with Chris and Barry as supporting characters.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Character Designs:

• Jill: Tactical look similar to Resident Evil 5
• Leon: Resembles his appearance in Resident Evil: Damnation
• Jill: Looks the same as in Resident Evil: Death Island
• Leon: Appears much older

🏝️ Main Plot: Jill from BSAA and Leon from DSO investigate an island where the company that created Evelyn is making mass clones. They will use Rosemary Winters' blood to create a vaccine for the island's residents.

🦠 Both characters will be infected with mega mycet. The island features an abandoned hospital, caves, dark forests, factories, laboratories, and a temple.

👾 Main Enemies: Evolved zombies that can use melee weapons and worship the moon. They have moon tattoos and can be heard singing "To The Moon."

👻 Leon will be stalked by a constant enemy, while Jill will face an antagonist called Mr. Simon.

📅 Playtests were held in April (Jill in the hospital) and September (Leon in the forest). RE9 will conclude the stories of Seven and Village.

🎮 Many fans are eager for an announcement, possibly at the Game Awards, which would attract over 100 million viewers.
