🕵️‍♂️ The Sangor Islamic Religious Department is collaborating with the police to investigate 612 individuals linked to Global Ian Service and Business Holdings.

📅 The investigations are conducted under the Sangor Sharia Criminal Enactment 1995, as stated by the chairman of the State Islamic Affairs and Cultural Innovation Committee, Muhammad Faming GAA.

📊 During a briefing, J Director Muhammad Shahian Ahmed provided updates on actions taken against GBA, following directives from the Sultan of Sangor, Sultan Shara Fudin Idris Sha.

🚨 Following the launch of Ops Global on September 11th, a special committee was formed to address police arrests. Out of the 612 individuals:

• 🔹 386 are classified as rescued victims who will be interviewed.
• 🔹 184 are Persons of Interest undergoing investigation for potential prosecution.
• 🔹 The remaining 42 individuals have yet to be classified.

👮‍♂️ The special committee has appointed 8 investigating officers to pursue investigations into key cases involving high-profile individuals connected to GIBS.

📑 The arrests made by the police are expected to assist in submitting cases to the Sangor Sharia Prosecution Department.
