🚀 I dropped out of high school at the age of 15 to pursue business. I started working on social media at 12 and got my big break on Snapchat, earning over $250,000 in profit in my first month.
🌙 Balancing school and business was tough. I was working with American partners while living in Cyprus, often staying up until 5-6 a.m. and waking up at 7 a.m. for school. This led to severe sleep deprivation and declining grades.
💰 I went from making $2,000-$3,000 a month at 13-14 to hundreds of thousands, which felt like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. However, my school wouldn't accommodate my schedule, insisting I focus on academics.
⚖️ Eventually, I had to choose between quitting my business or fully committing to it. I decided to take the risk and left school. Just 6-8 months later, Snapchat's success faded, forcing me to pivot to new business models like software and YouTube shorts.
📉 I was close to returning to school, feeling like I had lost everything. However, I realized that going back would mean giving up on my dreams. I had already taken the leap, and I didn't want to surrender.
📚 I don't recommend dropping out unless you have a business making over $100,000 a month. My situation was unique, and I had to "burn the boats," committing fully to my business.
✈️ My attendance at school was poor due to travel, and I was likely facing expulsion. This made it clear that I had no choice but to focus on my business.
👨👩👦 My parents were understandably worried about my decision to drop out. We agreed that if my business failed, I would return to school. After dropping out, my Snapchat venture collapsed, leaving me with a choice: go back to school or start anew.
🎥 I chose to start YouTube shorts and other ventures. Now, 1.5 years later, I own multiple companies generating close to $1 million a month in revenue.
💡 For those in their late teens or early twenties, it's possible to balance education and business. I'm hosting a free live class on September 22nd to teach how to make money with YouTube shorts. Join me to learn more!
