👻 A.J. Gentile from The Y Files and John Allen (MrBallen) share a common experience: encounters with shadow people.
🌑 Shadow people are typically seen as dark silhouettes in our peripheral vision. They can be benign or, in some cases, violent. The term was coined by Heidi Hollis, a paranormal researcher.
📜 Historical accounts of shadow beings date back to pre-Islamic religions discussing jinn, supernatural entities that are neither good nor evil. The Choctaw Indian tribes refer to them as Cheeto, soul eaters that prey on negative thoughts.
🎥 A.J. Gentile had a terrifying experience while on vacation. He woke up paralyzed, hearing whispers and footsteps. An old woman, resembling a witch, tormented him until he could finally move and she vanished. This encounter left him terrified, despite his skepticism about ghosts.
🏔️ John Allen's experience occurred during a snowboarding trip with friends. He heard footsteps and saw a shadow figure that appeared to be 10 feet tall. The figure entered his room, walked past him, and disappeared into his friend's bed. This happened multiple nights, leaving John in a state of fear and confusion.
😱 Both encounters highlight the unsettling nature of shadow people and the fear they instill, regardless of the individuals' beliefs in the supernatural.
