🪦 41-year-old technician Kyol Nizam Jafar has been confirmed dead after falling while conducting repairs on the glass deck of the Eagles Nest Skywalk at the top of Gunung Machin Chang in Lanka.

🕒 The incident occurred while he was 3 months into his employment with the glass deck company. Police received information from the victim's supervisor at 12:25 p.m.

🚒 A rescue operation was conducted by a team from the police, fire and rescue department, and the Civil Defense Force. The victim is believed to have fallen from a metal bracket holding the glass deck, approximately 40 meters below.

🕔 The victim's body was retrieved at 5:11 p.m. and sent to the forensic unit of Sutana Malha Hospital for a postmortem. The case has been classified as sudden death.
