π A couple of months ago, I had an MRI done on my chest due to concerns about a potential growth. The experience was frightening, especially when I learned about the possibility of a metal piece being inserted during the procedure.
π¬ Iβve been hesitant to share my struggles because they weigh heavily on me. However, I believe itβs important to talk about them once I have clarity. Recently, I launched a podcast called The Sweet and Sour Podcast with Lily, which has been a fulfilling endeavor.
π¨βπ©βπ¦ My brother visited me in LA for the first time, and we had a great time exploring my favorite food spots. I also went horseback riding for the first time, which was a fun experience.
π Unfortunately, Iβve been dealing with a lot of stress regarding my health. After my MRI, my gynecologist ordered additional tests, including ultrasounds and two biopsies, due to concerns about a lump that had returned.
π©Ί The biopsy process was overwhelming. I learned that it involves taking tissue samples, which can be alarming. I was also informed that a small metal marker would be placed in my body, which initially frightened me.
π’ After the first biopsy, I received benign results, but I still had to undergo a second MRI-assisted biopsy. The staff during these procedures were incredibly supportive, which helped ease my anxiety.
π Finally, I received the results of my second biopsy, which were also benign. This news came on my mom's birthday, making it a special moment for both of us.
πͺ I decided to share my experience to encourage others to prioritize their health. Regular screenings are crucial, especially for those with a family history of cancer. Remember, health is wealth, and taking care of yourself is essential.
π Thank you for listening, and I hope my story inspires you to stay on top of your health!
