🌕 Thad, a 25-year-old NASA intern in Houston, dreams of becoming an astronaut. One day, he discovers a safe containing moon rocks in the lab and devises a plan to steal them.

🤝 Thad contacts an old friend, Gordon, who agrees to find a buyer. Gordon finds a potential buyer, Axel, a mineral collector from Belgium, but Axel reports Gordon to the FBI.

❤️ Thad meets Tiffany, a 22-year-old intern, and they fall in love. Thad shares his moon rock heist plan, and Tiffany agrees to help.

🔒 Late one night, Thad and Tiffany use their credentials to enter the lab. They wear neoprene bodysuits to avoid triggering alarms but fail to crack the safe. Instead, they steal the entire 600 lb safe.

🏨 They break into the safe at a Motel 6, discovering 22 lbs of moon rocks and Martian meteorites valued at $21 million.

🚗 Thad and Tiffany drive to Orlando to meet buyers. They celebrate by having sex on the moon rocks, claiming they "smashed on the moon."

🚨 The buyers turn out to be undercover FBI agents. Thad and Tiffany are arrested, along with Gordon.

🏛️ The FBI finds stolen dinosaur bones at Thad's home. Tiffany and the other intern receive 180 days of house arrest, while Gordon gets 5 years in prison, and Thad is sentenced to 8 years.
