🎮 Resident Evil 9 is in development, taking place 4 years after Resident Evil Village.

👥 Main characters include Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine, teaming up for the first time in a game. Chris Redfield and Barry Burton will return as supporting characters.

🏝️ The plot involves Jill and Leon investigating an island linked to the company that created Evelyn from Resident Evil 7, which is now producing mass clones of her.

🦠 Jill and Leon will be infected and experience hallucinations, while Blue Umbrella will assist them in their mission.

👾 The main enemy is an evolved zombie that can use melee weapons. There will also be a stalker enemy pursuing Leon and a creature called the Goatman chasing Jill.

🧑‍🔬 The main villain is Mr. Simon, a new character with a dark past involved in biological weapon production.

📅 Playtests were conducted in April and September 2023, confirming the continuation of the storyline from Resident Evil 7 and Village.
