Powerhouse Weekend: Finding Purpose

Powerhouse Weekend: Finding Purpose

👋 Good afternoon everyone! Welcome to our Powerhouse Weekend. Thank you for joining us live and on Facebook. Let's reach more people together!

🔍 Many people search for their purpose but often feel lost in the mundane activities of life. The Filipino working class can easily get caught up in daily routines, forgetting to live meaningfully.

📚 The human life cycle includes education, work, relationships, and retirement. However, not everyone follows this cycle successfully, leading some to feel they have lived less. But does this cycle truly reflect our purpose?

🤔 To understand our purpose, we must answer the question of why. Socrates famously said, "An unexamined life is not worth living." Reflecting on our existence is crucial for finding meaning.

💭 Rene Descartes stated, "I think, therefore I am." This emphasizes that contemplation leads to self-awareness and purpose. Without reflection, we risk losing sight of our lives.

🌟 Our topic today is "Remember Your Why: Living a Purposeful Life Now and Beyond." Understanding our purpose is essential for a fulfilling life.

Why Remember Your Why?

1️⃣ Self-Discovery: Knowing your why leads to self-discovery, which is a lifelong process. It helps us uncover our potential and passion, allowing us to live meaningfully.

2️⃣ Life's Disposition: Our purpose shapes our beliefs and actions. When we know our purpose, we approach life with a positive mindset and character, essential for personal and professional relationships.

3️⃣ Clear Direction: Our purpose provides a sense of direction and helps prioritize what truly matters in life. It guides us through challenges and setbacks.

💪 Remember, your purpose is your truth, and it will decide your destiny. Hold on to your truth, especially during tough times.

🎥 Let's take inspiration from Chadwick Boseman, who emphasized the importance of finding purpose over mere jobs or careers.

🙏 Our lives should reflect God's providence and purpose. As stated in 1 Peter 4:11, everything we do should glorify God.

📖 In Ephesians 1:11-12, we learn that in Christ, we find out who we are and what we are living for. Remember, "I am" is your purpose.

🌈 Mark Twain said, "There are two most important days in one's life: the day you were born and the day you know why." Let's strive to remember our purpose amidst life's busyness.

Remember your why and live a purposeful life now!
