🔍 They obtained a search warrant for a squirrel and a raccoon, despite Peanut being a well-known indoor squirrel for 7 years without any complaints. He was famous on TikTok, being the first squirrel to reach 1 million followers.

📞 I found out about Peanut's euthanization through a news station, not from the DEC. They did not inform me directly.

💔 The state is wasting taxpayer dollars on this situation, which was based on anonymous complaints. Peanut had never harmed anyone, and the claims were unfounded.

⚖️ Legal action is being considered. This incident highlights the misuse of state resources and power against a family and nonprofit that helps animals.
